Masami Yoshida spent the seventies as the guitarist half of Grape, the folk duo he ran with Masashi Sada, and this 1980 record on Elektra is the only solo album he ever made. It sits squarely at the AOR end of city pop: unhurried tempos, horns from Takeru Muraoka and Toshiro Sakka, Akiko Yano on keys and Shuichi Murakami behind the kit. Yoshida sings plainly and lets the band carry it. Original copies have been scarce and expensive for years. This is the first reissue, cut to clear vinyl.
