The second Metro Area 12" and the point where the project's ideas start to lock in. Geist and Jesrani keep the palette narrow, a few drum machines, a bass line, and a handful of chords, and spend their time on groove and arrangement instead. The result is music that works on a dancefloor and rewards close listening at home, which is a harder trick than it sounds. There is a dryness to the production here that later nu-disco mostly abandoned in favor of gloss. Reissued by Environ, and as good a place to start the series as any.
