Released in 1996, it slows the thrash of the records before it to a drag, buries Al Jourgensen's voice in distortion and lets the guitars grind rather than sprint. Their rework of Bob Dylan's 'Lay Lady Lay' arrives sounding like a threat. It divided people on arrival and has aged into one of the band's most uncompromising statements. This expanded two-disc edition comes out for Rocktober 2026, exclusive to brick and mortar shops. Street date: October 30.
