American Psycho is the 1997 album that brought the Misfits back from the grave. Bandleader Jerry Only and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein rebuilt the horror punk institution with singer Michale Graves and drummer Dr. Chud, and the new blood gave the songs a sharper, more melodic bite. Dig Up Her Bones became a modern Misfits standard, and this edition keeps the bonus track Dead Kings Rise and the hidden cut Hell Night. Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering remastered it from 192kHz/24-bit transfers of the original EQ'd analog masters, pressed here on orange, red and black tri-color vinyl in a gatefold jacket.
