Mumford & Sons - Wilder Mind (180g) Vinyl LP
Mumford plugs in: the banjo sits this one out
- Mumford & Sons' 2015 third album on 180 gram vinyl
- Electric reinvention produced by James Ford, with Aaron Dessner of The National
- Includes Believe, The Wolf, Ditmas, and Tompkins Square Park
Wilder Mind is the sound of Mumford & Sons setting the banjo down and plugging in. For their third album the London band traded upright bass and stomping folk for electric guitars, a full drum kit and a widescreen, late-night rock sound, working with producer James Ford and with Aaron Dessner of The National. Believe swells from a hush into a roar, The Wolf charges hard, and Tompkins Square Park and Ditmas carry the album's New York-inflected romance. Mastered by Bob Ludwig and pressed here on 180 gram vinyl, it catches the band at its most restless.
