Twenty years on, the rock opera about The Patient still works because the band never once winks at it. Gerard Way sings the whole thing as though death really does arrive dressed as your fondest memory, and Rob Cavallo's production gives him marching snares, stacked harmonies and guitar solos to match. The deluxe edition adds six tracks to the original fourteen: the rare B-sides 'Heaven Help Us', 'Kill All Your Friends' and 'My Way Home Is Through You', plus three performances from the 2007 world tour. Indie exclusive double LP on baby pink vinyl, gatefold with a removable O-card, new art insert and printed inner sleeves.
