It’s a safe bet that Guns N’ Roses wouldn’t have existed had Nazareth (and this 1975 album, 'Hair of the Dog') never made it out of their Scottish homeland. Meant to be titled 'Son of a Bitch' and later renamed to Hair/Heir of the Dog as a way to curb censors at the label (just listen to the lyrics of the first track). Heavy in all of the right ways, this is an album to put on when you need something to jam out with your dad or need to get your cowbell fix, of which, there is plenty.
