Recorded at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall
- CD recording of the 30th Anniversary Legend of Zelda orchestral concert
- Performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor Taizo Takemoto
- Career-spanning Zelda music, an essential pickup for fans and VGM collectors
This 2-CD set captures The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert, recorded at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall during the anniversary tour of Japan. Taizo Takemoto conducts the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra through music from across the series, from the 1986 original on the Family Computer Disk System onward, with Koji Kondo's familiar themes given full symphonic weight. Hearing the overworld theme swell in a concert hall is a different thing from hearing it through a TV speaker, and this recording makes that case well. A natural pick for Zelda fans and video game music collectors.
