With nearly 800 million streams and a million records sold in the US alone, Phantogram is one of the most beloved artists of the last decade. Barsuk Records is excited to reissue the album that started it all, the indie-classic debut Eyelid Movies, with a new reissue, Eyelid Movies (Expanded Edition).

When first released in 2010, Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel were a little-known duo from upstate New York. But, after a year of touring and an underground breakout hit (“When I’m Small”) the band became one of the marquee names (alongside Sleigh Bells and The XX) in the electronic inspired indie-rock movement of the 2010’s, growing through the decade to become major festival draws in their own right and with their Big Boi collaboration project Big Grams.

Eyelid Movies (Expanded Edition) is a 2xLP reissue with newly expanded gatefold art on yellow with black swirl vinyl – limited to 5,000 copies worldwide. The second disc includes three previously unreleased studio tracks (“Suzie”, “Shotgun Smiles”, “Walk Down”), B-side and bonus tracks (“Voices”, “When I’m Small (Lucy’s Mix)”), and a side of revealing and gorgeous instrumentals, all never before available on vinyl.

The newly-mastered download included with purchase also contains an additional alternate version of “Make A Fist” (previously available only as a bonus download with the original LP’s first pressing licensed to Ghostly International), a beautiful and previously-unreleased live recording of “Voices” from one of the band’s first radio sessions, plus remixes from RAC, Michna and more.
