Queens of the Stone Age took five songs down into the Paris catacombs in July 2024 and recorded them live in complete takes, no overdubs, no edits. Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore were joined by a three piece string section and used chains and chopsticks where drums would normally go. The result strips the band to outline: familiar songs rebuilt as something closer to chamber music, with stone walls doing the reverb. This standard pressing is a single sided LP in a pocket jacket with a printed inner sleeve of behind the scenes photographs. Street date: December 4.
