Released in 1997, OK Computer is Radiohead's third album, an anxious, prescient meditation on technology, alienation and modern life that pushed alternative rock somewhere new. Recorded with Nigel Godrich, much of it in a country mansion outside Bath, it moves from the coiled prog of "Paranoid Android" to the quiet dread of "No Surprises," with "Airbag," "Karma Police" and "Lucky" along the way. Nearly three decades on, it still sounds unsettlingly current. This is the XL Recordings 2LP edition in a gatefold jacket, pressed after XL took over the band's catalog.
