Album Facts
RJD2 - Inversions of the Colossus CD
The Colossus with the vocals pulled and new songs added.
- Instrumental versions of The Colossus plus previously unreleased songs
- Drums and bass move forward with no vocal carrying the top line
- Digipak packaging
Inversions of the Colossus strips the vocals out of RJD2's fourth album and adds songs that did not make the original, which turns out to be a different record rather than a lesser one. Without a singer to carry the top line, the arrangements have to, and the drums and bass move forward in the mix. It works as a companion and it works cold, if you never heard The Colossus at all. Released five months after it in 2010, on RJD2's own label. Issued on CD in a digipak.
