Recorded in 2015 at Slowboat, the Sapporo club he opened with his wife Yasuko in 1995, it was his first album as a leader in sixteen years and his last before he died the following March. He plays here with two young musicians he trusted completely. Sonora carries the lyricism, Stella by Starlight the warmth, Speak Low the drive. Pressed in Japan on 180g uncolored virgin vinyl.
