On June 8, 1977, Masataka Ito recorded the Ryo Fukui Trio at Vidro, a jazz club in Sapporo, and the tape sat unheard for decades. Excerpts from that night are what convinced Trio Records to make Mellow Dream. This is the same group from the same year with none of the studio's manners: a sixteen-minute Mellow Dream that keeps building, Speak Low pushed hard, Body & Soul stretched wide open, a heavy Mr. P.C. and a fragile My Foolish Heart. Two LPs on 180g uncolored virgin vinyl, pressed in Japan.
