Sal Negro has been behind the decks for five decades, and No One's Permission is built entirely for the floor. Four tracks, none of them under six and a half minutes, moving through Afro-Caribbean percussion and deep house architecture with the patience of someone who knows how a night is supposed to unfold. "Falling In Love" runs past seven minutes without wasting one of them, and the Afrosonic Offering mix of the title track sends it further out. Pressed in an edition of one hundred.
