Shinki Chen's guitar, Joey Smith's drums and vocals, Michael Hanopol on bass: three players who barely got along, cutting one of the heaviest records Japan produced in 1972. The songs sprawl, the blues rock turns feral, and the closing medley leans on a Moog that was still a luxury item at the time. Sniffin' and Snortin' and Run And Hide were held over from the Eve sessions and surface here. Julian Cope wrote the band into Japrocksampler and the reputation stuck. This is the 2019 Warner reissue, two discs in separate sleeves with yellow lyric inserts, reproducing the tiger jacket.
