Recorded in 1982 and released on Ra's own Saturn label, this is late-period Arkestra at its most direct. It opens with "Nuclear War," a call-and-response piece where Sun Ra preaches plainly over a loping groove, and the plainness is the point. From there the record drifts: "Retrospect" is hazy and weightless, "Makeup" an off-kilter nightclub shuffle, and the title track builds from muted horns into a full-group statement with Ra's keyboard cutting through. Marshall Allen, John Gilmore, and June Tyson are all present. Pressed on sky blue vinyl by Modern Harmonic, who have done right by the Saturn catalog.
