Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense Tour Vinyl LP
The Talking Heads best live performance. Ever?
- DOL vinyl pressing capturing Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense era
- Companion piece to the iconic David Byrne-led Jonathan Demme concert film
- Essential live document for any Talking Heads or post-punk vinyl collection
Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense tour is remembered as one of the greatest live shows rock has ever produced, the stage show where David Byrne's big suit, Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz's elastic rhythm section and an expanded band of funk and soul players turned art-punk into a full-body groove. This live recording captures the band from the tour in 1984, building song by song from the bare opening of Psycho Killer to the joyous, sprawling energy of Burning Down the House, Life During Wartime and Once in a Lifetime. A must for any Talking Heads fan.
