Album Facts
Beatles - Revolver (Remixed Special Edition) Vinyl LP
Special release with new mix by producer Giles Martin & Sam O'Kell
- Remixed Special Edition vinyl pressing of The Beatles' 1966 seventh album Revolver
- Pivotal psychedelic-pop turn featuring Giles Martin's expanded stereo mix from the original master tapes
- Includes Eleanor Rigby, Taxman, Yellow Submarine, and Tomorrow Never Knows
Revolver, first released in 1966, is the album where The Beatles turned the recording studio into an instrument. From the snarling Taxman to the tape-loop psychedelia of Tomorrow Never Knows, it moves through string-quartet drama on Eleanor Rigby, sunny pop on Here, There and Everywhere and Good Day Sunshine, and the Indian textures of Love You To. This special edition has been newly mixed by Giles Martin and Sam Okell, sourced from the original four-track tapes using de-mixing technology developed by Peter Jackson's WingNut Films team, revealing the album with stunning clarity.
