The Big Lebowski gets the Mondo treatment for it's 20th anniversary (as of 2018) to embody everything that made the soundtrack so good. The Big Lebowski is one of those films that takes a near-perfect snapshot of the early 90s - From the allusions to the active Gulf War taking place at the time and the fringe LA scene that the every-man was living - and makes the soundtrack right at home for it. With The Gipsy Kings spanish cover of "Hotel California" to Kenny Rogers' Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" to the perfect opening song "The Man in Me" by Bob Dylan.
Is this one of the greatest soundtracks for the film? "That's just like, your opion, man" but it's a mighty fine one if I do say so myself.
