Kucha, Zeimani and BG Womack were singing before they could walk. Their parents are Zekkariyas and Zeriiya, formerly Womack and Womack, and the sisters grew up on the road behind them with four other siblings, schooled in studios and on stages rather than anywhere fixed. Their self-titled debut is what that upbringing sounds like once it finds its own shape. Gabriel Roth produced, and the record looks forward by looking back, paying respect to the family lineage while landing somewhere only these three voices could reach.
