The Best of 1990-2000 collects U2's second decade, the restless, reinvented era that took them from Achtung Baby through Zooropa and Pop to All That You Can't Leave Behind. Pressed on double 180-gram vinyl, it pairs signature songs like "One," "Mysterious Ways," "Even Better Than the Real Thing" and "Beautiful Day" with two then-new recordings, "Electrical Storm" and "The Hands That Built America," plus fresh mixes of several tracks. It also gathers the 1995 singles "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" and "Miss Sarajevo," which had never appeared on a U2 album. Bono's voice and the Edge's effects-laden guitar carry it all.
