The 1995 film did middling business and the reviews were unkind, but the soundtrack outlived both. Ministry, Pantera, Megadeth, Sepultura, Melvins, Biohazard, Machine Head and Rollins Band contributed material that mostly appeared nowhere else, which is why the record still gets hunted down. Filter's "Hey Man Nice Shot" landed here before the band had released anything at all, and the one hip-hop cut, from Gravediggaz, is archetypal horrorcore. The album only saw a European LP pressing at the time. Real Gone brings it back on blue and white Cryptkeeper splatter vinyl. Street date: October 16.
