Sixteen songs recorded in Soviet Armenia between 1986 and 1992, while the union came apart and Yerevan's nights kept their own pace anyway. Discotchari pulled them from the Armenian Radio Archive, a collection numbering in the tens of thousands, and picked the outliers: synth-lit, groove-led songs that land uncannily close to Japanese city pop of the same years, made on the other side of the continent under the opposite economics. Twelve have never been released physically. Remastered by Osiris Studio from the original reel-to-reel broadcast tapes, pressed as a 140 gram gatefold 2LP with obi sleeve, album notes and a download card.
