DJ Hoppa became Wax's tour DJ in 2024, and because Hoppa never travels without a portable studio, the tour turned into a rolling recording session. Highway Hotel was built in hotel rooms, green rooms and the backs of vans on long hauls across the US and Canada, which is exactly why it sounds so loose. Thirteen tracks sit between Hoppa's raw boom bap instincts and Wax's melodic, motormouth range, with Watsky, G Love, K.A.A.N., Jarren Benton, Demrick, Little Stranger and Wax's twin brother Herbal T along for the ride. Pressed across two LPs in magenta and neon green. Street date: September 4.
