Album Facts
Weezer - Gold Album (Gold Color) Vinyl LP
Back in the rehearsal room, crunchier than they've been in years.
- Weezer's seventh self-titled album, known as the Gold Album
- Produced by Klas Ahlund and Kenneth Blume, written as a full band
- Includes 'Shine Again' and 'We Might as Well Be Strangers' with Wednesday
Weezer's seventh self-titled record, already nicknamed the Gold Album, is their first in four years and the sound of four guys back in a rehearsal room rather than four laptops in four cities. Rivers Cuomo and Patrick Wilson wrote together the way they did on the debut, with Klas Ahlund and Kenneth Blume producing and Blume promising the most violent Weezer album yet. Singles 'Shine Again' and 'We Might as Well Be Strangers', the latter featuring Karly Hartzman of Wednesday, suggest crunch and hooks in equal measure. Street date: August 21, 2026.
