A quartet from Maastricht who found their direction in a couple of compilations of psychedelic Southeast Asian guitar music and have been travelling east ever since. Their fourth album pushes the dancefloor impulse harder than anything before it, welding disco, funk, surf and psychedelia to Eastern tunings that give the whole thing its particular tilt. Italo disco is the other presence here, that spacey and slightly mysterious strain the band describe as something you have to imagine your way into. Eleven tracks of soundtracks for journeys that exist only in the head, played by four people plainly enjoying themselves.
