Yoko Kanno wrote for the series the way she writes for everything, which is to say without much regard for what a television score is supposed to sound like: cold electronica sitting next to Eastern European folk, jazz and rock, sung by a rotating cast in Russian, English and invented languages. Origa's inner universe opens it, Scott Matthew's lithium flower closes the first season, and GET9 and rise arrive in their broadcast edits. Originally issued in 2004, current CD edition dates to 2011.
